This program explores the characteristics and landscape uses of ornamental grasses that thrive in Rockland County. Participants will learn how to select, plant, and maintain the best varieties for their yards. The program will also highlight native grasses well suited to local conditions and identify species considered invasive by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
