Our Hudson Valley SNAP-Ed team is passionate about healthy food and lifestyles and we are looking for a Nutrition Educator who shares that enthusiasm.
The SNAP-Ed Resource Educator provides program development, implementation, coordination and evaluation to improve healthy food and lifestyle choices among low-income families and individuals of all ages throughout the Hudson Valley. Focusing on Rockland and Westchester counties, this person will work closely with program colleagues at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange (CCE Orange). This person also leads the County in development and implementation of policy, systems and environmental change initiatives in collaboration with other nutritionists of the Hudson Valley SNAP-Ed team. This person is supervised by CCE Rockland County and receives programmatic leadership and coordination by the SNAP-Ed Project Manager based in CCE Orange. A Master’s degree in Nutrition, Health Education or Public Health is required for this position.
