The Institute for Non-Profits (INP) was founded in 1995 by a number of community organizations in Rockland County, New York. As there are more than 1,100 non-profit organizations in the county, it seemed appropriate and necessary to improve communication and collaboration within the non-profit community. More than 180 organizations now actively participate in the Institute’s programs. The INP is an educational program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockland.
