4-H Financial Education Series with Chase Bank Begins!

Build money skills for life!

Join 4-H and Chase Bank for a four-part Financial Education Series designed to help youth develop practical financial skills they can use now and as they grow. The series is geared toward students in grades 6–8, but all youth in grades 6 and above are welcome. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate with their children.

Through interactive, age-appropriate sessions, participants will learn how to set financial goals, create a budget, save money, understand credit and debt, navigate the basics of banking, and recognize common fraud and scams.

Series Schedule

October 8 | 6:00–7:00 PM
How to Set Goals, Build a Budget & Save
Learn how to set financial goals, create a budget, and develop smart saving habits.

October 22 | 6:00–7:00 PM
Improving Credit & Managing Debt
Discover how credit works, what can affect your credit, and how to make responsible decisions about borrowing and debt.

November 5 | 6:00–7:00 PM
Introduction to Banking
Explore the basics of banking, including checking and savings accounts, banking services, and making informed financial decisions.

November 12 | 6:00–7:00 PM
Help Avoid Fraud & Scams as You Age
Learn how to recognize common scams and fraud, identify warning signs, and protect your money and personal information.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate! Attending together provides an opportunity for families to learn practical financial skills and start conversations about money, saving, and responsible financial decision-making.
