If you apply pesticides, including weed-killers, weed and feed products, insecticides, fungicides, or tick control products to a customer's properties for hire, you or someone in your company MUST be a New York State Certified Pesticide Applicator through the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and have their business registered.
There are three levels of commercial certification: Applicator, Technician and Apprentice.
