Youth Leadership Workshop: Stand Up, Speak Out, Lead On!

Rockland County Legislator Dr. Aney Paul invites youth ages 12–18 to a free interactive leadership workshop focused on building public speaking skills. Join us on Thursday, August 14 from 1:30–4:00 PM at the Rockland County Legislative Chambers (11 New Hempstead Rd, New City).

Led by 4-H Educator Kristin Ruggiero of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockland, this dynamic session will include hands-on activities to boost confidence, improve delivery, and organize impactful presentations—culminating in creative mini-presentations by the participants.

The event will also feature presentations by the Rockland County Youth Bureau, local youth leaders, and special recognition of graduating seniors.
