The Eat Smart New York (ESNY) Senior Nutritionist is an integral player in program design and development, assessment, evaluation, and delivery of public education to improve healthy food and lifestyle choices among low-income families and individuals encompassing all age groups throughout the Hudson Valley. As part of the Federal SNAP-Ed Regional Program, and as the only SNAP-Ed senior nutritionist for the Region, this position works closely with the program leads in Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County (CCEOC), guiding other nutrition staff with subject matter expertise in support of strategic and innovative planning, coordination and implementation of nutrition education. As an integral part of program delivery, this position also assists with the county development and implementation of social marketing and environmental change initiatives in collaboration with other nutritionists of the SNAP-Ed program in Hudson Valley region.

*This position is employed by CCE Orange County but is housed in Stony Point, NY at CCE Rockland County and works throughout the seven county region (Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester Counties).*
