4-H Parliamentary Procedure Workshop

Attention all students in grades 6–12! Want to become a more confident club officer and meeting leader? Join us for a hands-on workshop on parliamentary procedure and learn practical skills to help your club run organized, effective meetings.

Participants will learn about:

  • Officer roles and responsibilities
  • How to conduct officer elections
  • The basic order of a club meeting
  • How to make, discuss, amend, and vote on motions
  • Common parliamentary procedure terms and motions
  • How to participate in discussions and handle disagreements respectfully

Facilitator:

The workshop will include a mock club meeting, allowing participants to practice their new skills and experience what it’s like to serve as a club officer and participate in club business.

Whether you are a current officer, planning to run for an office, or simply want to become more comfortable participating in club meetings, this workshop will give you practical skills you can use right away!
