Attention High School Students from the East Ramapo School District!

Are you interested in the environment and improving your community? Join the Spring Valley 4-H Youth Environmental Task Force where you will develop skills, connect with peers, and have a positive impact!

About:

Sponsored by the Rockland County Youth Bureau and led by local organizations, Task Force members will learn about the environment through hands-on activities at Spring Valley Memorial Park. Members will also be able to improve the community by designing and implementing a community service project.

Who is Eligible?

  • 9th - 12th Grade Students from the East Ramapo School District
  • Can commit to all sessions and the service project
  • Work well in a team
  • Enjoy being outside
  • Excited to improve Spring Valley Memorial Park 

Benefits:

  • $10 stipend for each session attended (plus snacks)
  • Connection with local organizations/leaders

  • Opportunity to improve your community

Monday - Friday, August 19 - 23, 2024, 1:00pm - 3:30pm
