NYSDEC Endorsed 4 Hour Erosion & Sediment Control Required Training

• Tuesday, October 25, 2016, 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Registration begins at 8:30am; Workshop begins promptly at 9:00am Photo ID required on the day of training.

Under the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation’s General Permit GP-0-15-002, all developers,contractors and subcontractors must identify at least one trained contractor from their company that will be responsible for implementation of the SWPPP, and have at least one trained contractor on site on a daily basis when soil disturbance activities are being performed. Also, developers must have a qualified inspector conduct regular site inspections in accordance with GP-0-15-002.
*Qualified inspectors and trained contractors must attend 4 hours of training in the principles and practices of erosion and sediment control endorsed by NYS DEC every 3 years.
Upon completion, each participant will receive a NYSDEC SWT-number valid for 3 years.
Training IS required for those who are NOT CPESC, LA, or PE certified.

COST: $95 per person, non-refundable (includes training materials).
Please bring your lunch and/or breakfast. You are welcome to eat at the training. Space
is limited. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, NO walk-ins.

$65.00 for Rockland County Municipal Staff who are members of the "Stormwater Consortium (SC) of Rockland County." If you are not a SC member and would like to join, please call office for information. If you join, you can receive the discount.
