Join CCEDC's Resource Educator Michelle Gluck and Suzanne Barclay, Executive Director, CCE Rockland on Facebook Live or Zoom for a viewing of 2020 CNBC Special Report on Plastics (15min) and post discussion about key themes and what we can do to take action to reduce plastic pollution such as environmentally preferable purchasing and extended producer responsibility policies, using innovative alternative materials, and reducing plastics usage. Special guests will be invited to help inform the discussion. Stay tuned!

About the Stream-a-thon

This Earth Day, CCE Rockland is proud to partner for Cornell Cooperative Extension’s 2021 Earth Day Stream-a-thon! Throughout the day on Earth Day, April 22, 2021 CCE educators and staff from across the Hudson Valley will use virtual and social media platforms to provide a day chock-full of short presentations pertaining to a wide range of environmental topics. You can learn how to make your home more energy efficient, how to make a home compost, how to lower your carbon footprint through food, enjoy a virtual educational nature walk at Dover Stone Church, learn about and discuss plastic pollution, and much, much more! The events will be broadcast live on Facebook, and some of the events require registration ahead of time.
