• What your organization can do, must do, and is prohibited from doing with employees, independent contractors, consultants, interns and volunteers
• How to manage the hiring process, discipline and performance, and termination without legal pitfalls
• Complying with Discrimination & harassment laws
• Maintaining and utilizing personnel files; records retention
• Legal landmines associated with employee benefits: wages, overtime pay, meals, breaks, travel,
  telephonic equipment, drug-free work place, sick days, vacation, personal days, health insurance, jury duty, bereavement leave, military leave
• Your overlapping obligations under Disability laws; workers’ compensation; Family/Medical Leave Act
• Opportunities to ask questions that apply to your organization so you can get it right
