Mother's Day Floral Arranging Workshop
- Thursday, May 5, 2016, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Participants in this program create a beautiful, vibrant arrangement of roses, phlox, stock and gerber daisies just in time for Mother’s Day. In addition to learning the art of arranging a lovely springtime palette of blooms, participants will take home the arrangements to grace their homes. Please bring your preferred tool to cut flowers as well as a medium sized box to carry your arrangement. All other materials are included.

Instructor Bio: Sonia Valcarcel-Bley is a Master Gardener Volunteer who earned her Certificate in Floral Design from the New York Botanical Garden and has over 10 years of experience working in the floral design industry. Over the past several years, Sonia has taught floral arranging classes at Cornell Cooperative Extension to hundreds of Rockland County residents.
